Creating Content That Converts
-
Designed with a balance of informative messaging and engaging visuals, the stories helped customers understand how the business model worked while encouraging them to clean out their closets, discover new styles, and engage with the brand regularly.
Using the combination of eye-catching graphics with clear calls to action, the content encouraged daily engagement while driving both inventory acquisition and in-store traffic.
-
To create excitement around new arrivals, I produced social content that spotlighted featured inventory as it became available.
By combining strong visual merchandising with trend-conscious styling, each video helped communicate the quality and variety of Plato's Closet's merchandise while reinforcing the urgency of shopping an inventory that changes every day.
-
Behind every piece of content was a consideration of how the product was presented. I selected pieces, considered color and proportion, arranged flat lays, styled outfits, composed photographs, and created visual groupings intended to tell a story.
My approach was rooted in the idea that presentation changes perception. The same product can feel completely different depending on how it is styled, photographed, and placed within a larger visual story.
Reels + Tik Toks
-
I created short-form video content designed to capture attention quickly while communicating the personality, products, and opportunities within the store.
From trend-focused content to educational videos explaining the Plato's Closet model, my videos were created with different goals in mind. I created various short-form videos for attracting shoppers, encouraging people to sell, showcasing inventory, and building brand awareness allowed me to think visually and strategically at the same time.
Stories + Posts
-
I developed social media campaigns around seasonal events, shopping moments, and store promotions, translating each campaign into visually engaging content across Tik Tok, Instagram posts, stories, and video.
-
To highlight Plato's Closet's constantly evolving inventory, I created styled flat lay photography that showcased seasonal trends, coordinated outfits, and featured brands.
These curated visuals provided followers with fashion inspiration while presenting the merchandise in a clean, editorial format that encouraged engagement and drove in-store shopping.
Creating content for Plato’s Closet strengthened my eye for composition, balance, color, texture, and overall styling.
